WHAT: Twitter Art Exhibit 2017
WHERE: The ArtsHouse, 14 Rother Street, Stratford-upon-Avon
WHEN: April 2 – April 19, 2017
WHY: This amazing annual art sale allows you to buy original, postcard sized artwork, created by artists from all over the world. The proceeds of all the sales will be donated to Molly Olly’s Wishes, a charity which supports children with terminal or life-threatening illnesses. The charity grants individual wishes, as well as donating therapeutic toys to children and hospitals throughout the UK.
This is one of my favourite annual exhibitions. With over 1000 pieces of artwork from all over the globe, it is wonderfully diverse and colourful, and incredibly inspiring to see so many artists coming together to donate their work to make a difference.
So if you are in the area, pop by The ArtsHouse, and look out for my submission, ‘Elliot’. This is not an exhibition to miss!
UPDATE: I am pleased to announce that ‘Elliot’ was bought, on opening night, by David Sandum (artist, founder of the Twitter Art Exhibit, and award-winning author of ‘I’ll Run Till The Sun Goes Down’), for a student of his, and will be travelling to Norway! Opening night was a huge success, with over £8,000 being raised for Molly Olly’s Wishes, and more sales expected throughout the rest of the exhibition!
